well it seems like everyone i know is entering NS. aloy is going in tomorrow. he'll be joining the commandos just like alex. then, louis is also NS-ing this friday. but he'll be going into the tekong camp which means he'll only know which unit he's joining after 3 months. sam is already in camp-ubi. he's got the can-go-home-everyday job. jon chia is going in in September to tekong. the same as louis i guess. and juan, he's already in camp-tekong. he smsed me last night suddenly, surprisingly. it was nice to hear from him and it was even nicer to know that he took the initiative to ask how i was. at least somewhere out there in the lonely confines of pulau tekong someone was thinking of me, even just as a friend, is sufficient for me. i think..i see the start of a new friendship. we've already promised to meet each other for lunch or just a drink. no definite plans though. found out that he's newly single too.
anyways, met up with Sarah yesterday. it was supposed to be just her and i but Eugene wanted to come along and omg he looked so much like louis. walked around town for abit and Eugene treated us lunch-sushi at cine.he really looked amazingly like louis. went intop my favourite shop, New Urban Male, and some guy asked eugene for my number. ok la that guy was quite cute. the moment i walked in it was him that i noticed. aaaand, he thought i was hot too. the joys of singlehood. the innocent flirting (or so sarah calls it) and the dating. that exhiliration. maybe i won't find a new bf. i shall do just as juan says. just date around. i'm shall continue being a femme fatale. and that's exactly what sean calls me.
for now....enjoy the poem.
title of poem: The Rose
written by: Inez Caroline
The quiet delicate beauty
Of solitude and peace
In a world of mysteries
An enigma that will never cease
The simmering seductress
Swaying in the silent night
Beneath the starry havens
Beneath the eyes of light
It drowned the darkness
The sacred love divine
The silent and supernatural
Mystery and purity in twine
Dancing, treading gracefully
Twirling in wind's palm
Whispering melodies of quiet
In secret, the sacred psalm
