if i could ask for the everything,
for something rich and never dying
that all i'd have is none but you.

if i could wish a falling star.
i'd wish that love stretch wide and far.
and if you should graze under that loveless sky,
be still and hear my kisses fly.

if i could stand most tall and and proud,
i would proclaim out clear and loud.
that i would take the longest trip.
just to fall in your love's grip

if i could wish for something more,
a wish so potent like never before.
i'd wish that our deep love would be
strong and true for all to see.
